Yesterday the Middle School Beacons crew from Sheridan came to Sullivan/Anishinabe for a friendly came of football. The running plays were fast and the passes were as crisp as the weather! The game was a nail-biter, and ended in a tie. After the game, the athletes enjoyed a snack and some time to mingle with each other. It was a great afternoon of friendly competition!

A little snow on the ground can't stop us! |

We even had a cheering section (see shadows above). |

Both sides showed great sportsmanship. |

The energy was competitive and fun! |
Speaking of competition, the Blizzard Cup is in less than a week, and the students have been studying hard! Check out some photos from yesterday's practice.

The group takes turns answering question. Everyone has an opportunity to share. |

The sense of competition is among us, building great leaders and a strong sense of community. While we have a strong sense of school pride, we are also very grateful to be part of the larger Minneapolis Beacons team.
