A Little Friendly Competition

Yesterday the Middle School Beacons crew from Sheridan came to Sullivan/Anishinabe for a friendly came of football.  The running plays were fast and the passes were as crisp as the weather!  The game was a nail-biter, and ended in a tie.  After the game, the athletes enjoyed a snack and some time to mingle with each other.  It was a great afternoon of friendly competition!

A little snow on the ground can't stop us!

We even had a cheering section (see shadows above).

Both sides showed great sportsmanship.

The energy was competitive and fun!

Speaking of competition, the Blizzard Cup is in less than a week, and the students have been studying hard!  Check out some photos from yesterday's practice.

Have an answer?  Let's hear it!

The group takes turns answering question.  Everyone has an opportunity to share.

Even the camera can't break her concentration.

Blizzard Cup is in 6 days.  Time to buckle down and study!

I know the answer!

I know the answer too!

We like learning together as a team.

The sense of competition is among us, building great leaders and a strong sense of community.  While we have a strong sense of school pride, we are also very grateful to be part of the larger Minneapolis Beacons team.
